CBD progression of Ti-doped ZnO thin film spectroscopic characterizations

Abstract

In this study, titanium (Ti) doped zinc oxide (ZnO) has been successfully synthesized using chemical bath deposition method. The structural properties of the Ti-doped ZnO films were analyzed through X-ray diffraction, FTIR and FT-Raman analysis. The average crystallites size was calculated using X-ray diffraction. The film’s surface morphology was analyzed using TEM. Film thickness was measured using an atomic force microscopy and the rms roughness value of the films was found in the range of 1.45–1.60 nm. Optical characteristics were studied through UV–Vis spectroscopic technique. Ti doped ZnO exhibit ferromagnetic properties at room temperature. At various frequencies and temperatures the dielectric constant, dielectric loss and AC conductvity of Ti doped ZnO thin films were studied.
