We live in a global community. Highly advanced transportation systems and sophisticated communication equipment result in frequent and intense interaction and exchange of information between people in different societies. Globalization has produced some important effects on people’s lives regardless of their geographic location or cultural environment. People’s economic lives are no longer determined solely by their national situations, and a nation’s political situation is not solely decided by its internal circumstances. Globalization itself has created a “global culture”.
