Zusammenfassung

Industrie 4.0 ist eine neue Art der industriellen Wertschöpfung, die durch Kombination aus Digitalisierung und Automatisierung sowie der Vernetzung aller an der Wertschöpfung beteiligten Akteure gekennzeichnet ist. Dies bedingt, dass sich nicht nur die Prozesse und Geschäftsmodelle verändern, sondern auch die Produkte der Unternehmen. So verbauen Unternehmen zunehmend Sensoren in ihren Produkten, die es ihnen ermöglichen, Daten über ihre Produkte zu sammeln.
