This study proposed a mathematical model of combining with Gamma function and Gaussian function, based on the characteristic of DVP waveform, that starts with a steep half and end with flat. This model is distinct from the previous mathematical models, which only use Gaussian function. We performed decomposition of four types of DVP waveform by using the proposed model and Multi-Gaussian model. The results showed that proposed method was suitable for deconstruction of the DVP waveform, and the mean square error(MSE) was 0.2058 ± 0.0979 (10-3). In this study, we succeed in proving that the proposed model is suitable applying on PPG signals.
