Determination of the Influence of the Working Environment on the Development of Underfilm Corrosion of Machine Parts with Dispersed-Filled Polymer Coatings

Abstract

Methods for detecting underfilm corrosion, as well as the influence of working media on the rate of corrosion propagation, are considered. The results of the influence of working media on parts with organosilicon polymer surfaces modified by various disperse fillers are presented. It is shown that introduction of mica into the composition of organosilicon coating allows obtaining a protective anticorrosion coating with good adhesion to the surface of metal. The impact of working media on the water affinity of the surface of a polymer coating is described.
