10. Die Gruppe in der Organisation: Das Gruppenverhalten

Zusammenfassung

Kap. 10 führt in das Thema Gruppe bzw. Team ein. Zunächst werden Begriff und Formen von Gruppen erläutert, wobei insbesondere zwischen formalen und informalen Gruppen differenziert wird. Abschn. 10.2 stellt den systemanalytischen Bezugsrahmen vor, der zwischen Input-, Prozess- und Outputvariablen von Gruppenprozessen unterscheidet, die im Folgenden systematisch vorgestellt werden. Als wichtigste Inputvariablen werden einerseits die Gruppenmitglieder, zum anderen der organisationale Kontext von Gruppenarbeit diskutiert. Die zentralen Prozessvariablen sind Kohäsion, Normen und Standards, interne Sozialstruktur (Rollen-, Status- und informelle Führungsstruktur) sowie konzertierte Gruppenaktionen (Risikoschub, Gruppendenken). Die Outputvariablen werden anhand zentraler Ergebnisse der empirischen Gruppenforschung im Hinblick auf Gruppenstabilität, -produktivität und -effektivität diskutiert. Die zwei abschließenden Abschnitte thematisieren den Gruppenentwicklungsprozess sowie die Beziehung zwischen Gruppen. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auch das Thema Konflikt und Konfliktmanagement diskutiert.
