Volume 62, issue 5 of TechTrends is a special issue from the Research and Theory Division of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology. The theme of the issue is current and innovative research methodologies in Instructional Design and Technology. It was guest edited by Drs. Enilda Romero-Hall (University of Tampa), E-Ling Hsiao (Valdosta State University), and Fei Gao (Bowling Green State University). I am thankful to this group of editors for the vision, hard work, and organization they demonstrated while planning this issue and making it a reality! The issue includes ten original papers and some of the regular columns you expect to see in TechTrends: Graduate Member Musings, History Corner, Rethinking Technology & Creativity in the twenty-first Century, ICT International, and Leading Matters columns.
