I cannot believe it is already time for the second issue of TechTrends for 2016! The journal has made some changes that you may have noticed in the last issue. There has been a color change for the cover in 2016 and the new AECT logo was added to the front cover as well. I hope you noticed the square spine and a new look inside as well. In addition to the changes with the print version of the journal, there have been changes with the online versions of the journal’s content too. Articles are now being published “online first” and will be available online and citable well before the print version of the journal is available. The PDF versions of the articles that Springer produces are high quality and include more links in and out of the files so that your work published in TechTrends will be more easily found by others than in any previous year. I hope you will agree with me that these are all great changes for TechTrends. I am amazed at how much work Springer has done to make these changes possible for this volume year. Many individuals at Springer have worked on these changes, but I especially appreciate the help and guidance of Ms. Carol Bischoff, Senior Editor at Springer. …
