Abstract

This study delves into the role of various liquid carriers in influencing the shelf-life and antifungal effectiveness of Trichoderma harzianum, a prominent biocontrol agent. By examining the impact of soybean oil, neem oil, canola oil, paraffin oil, and glycerin on the performance of T. harzianum isolates ET4 and ET14, the research aims to optimize the formulation of biopesticides for enhanced control of plant pathogens, particularly Alternaria solani. The study employs in vitro assays to measure radial growth inhibition, providing valuable data on the effectiveness of different carriers in maintaining the antifungal properties of T. harzianum over time.
