Since years the number of people died in traffic is decreasing, advanced driver assistance systems can lead to an active avoidance of additional accidents. The superordinate question to be investigated is which safety benefits can be achieved by the developed systems. IKA and FKA compare three systems which are featuring different warning levels for the driver and are working with and without interventions in steering and braking in order to evaluate better their impact. …
