Facilities Design of Fume Protection and Ventilation System in Welding Workshop of an Automotive Enterprise

Abstract

The welding fume in the welding workshop has an important impact on the occupational health of the workers in the workshop. Scientific and reasonable design of the ventilation system in the welding workshop can effectively reduce the concentration of the welding fume and ensure the occupational health of the workers. This paper uses the method of controlling wind velocity to design the ventilation system of workshop. The results show that the system can effectively control the welding fume, and the concentration is less than 4 mg/m3.
