Zusammenfassung

Zur Generierung von kognitiven, emotionalen und weiteren Ressourcen wird in jüngerer Zeit die Technik bzw. der Zustand der Achtsamkeit diskutiert. Unterschiedliche Wissenschaftsdisziplinen belegen eine generell positive Wirkung auf potenziell kreativitätsfördernde Zustände. Das vorliegende Kapitel definiert den Begriff Achtsamkeit und grenzt ihn von anderen Bewusstseinszuständen ab. Anschließend werden wissenschaftliche Modelle (u. a. Glomb et al. 2011) zum Prozess und zur ressourcenaufbauenden Wirkung von Mindfulness vorgestellt. Diese Modelle stellen Bezüge zwischen klassischen arbeitsbezogenen Ressourcen von Mitarbeiter*innen (u. a. Arbeitsgedächtnis) und Achtsamkeit her. Die positiven Konsequenzen werden ebenso beschrieben wie konkrete arbeitsbezogene Beispiele. Es folgt eine Darstellung von bisherigen empirischen Befunden, insbesondere zum Zusammenhang zwischen Achtsamkeit und Kreativität. Das Kapitel schließt mit Maßnahmen des Human Resource Managements zur Steigerung der Achtsamkeit.
