Giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) is a national treasure of China; to protect this iconic species, the Chinese government established 67 nature reserves within the last 50 years, covering 66.8 % of giant pandas and 53.8 % of its habitats (State Council Information Office of China 2015).
