Abstract

Hierarchical nanostructures of the novel In–SnO2 were prepared beneficially by method of precipitation. XRD, SEM-EDX, PL, DRS, XPS and TEM were characterized for the morphology and composition of the material. Variation of physiochemical and photo catalytic efficiency was studied on bare SnO2 as a feature of co-doping metal ions. Results obtained that improvement of the photo catalytic performance of reactive red 120 dye in UV light illumination as a function of Indium metal co-doping on SnO2 due to improved charging separation and lower band gap energy. In–SnO2 recyclable property has been tested and shows strong recyclable property which has been useful for its practical application.
