Abstract

It is shown that the abrasion resistance of polyurethane ureas based on polyoxytetramethylene diol oligoether Polyfurite-1000 deteriorates significantly upon moistening. This effect is related to the weakening of interchain interactions in the studied polymers under the action of moisture. The results obtained correlate with corresponding changes in the elastic-strength characteristics of the studied materials.
