Introduction

The present volume on the phase equilibria of marine evaporites is a new and revised edition of the solubility data of the quinary seawater system Na₂Cl₂-K₂Cl₂-MgCl₂-Na₂SO₄-K₂S0₄-MgS0₄-H₂0 (also denoted NaCl-KCl-MgCl₂-Na₂S0₄-H₂0) and its pertinent five quaternary, nine ternary, and six binary systems. The purpose of the volume is to provide an easy and fast access to reliable data and an understanding of the interrelation of the various systems. It has been organized into the sections.
