Abstract

Taylor, Santiago, Hauer, Hynes, and Mickahail provide a much-needed discussion on ways innovative leaders are preparing for the future. Effective leadership styles, including relevant examples and self-reflective exercises, make up the discussion of building an innovative, diverse organizational culture. Possible future technology challenges and opportunities demonstrate the practice of flexibility and risk taking, with real-life examples of organizations coping with change. A short history of the Industrial Revolutions helps the reader to understand the effect of technology on society as well as businesses when looking toward the future.
