Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel zeigen wir Ihnen nun Aspekte von Wahrnehmung und Wirkung einer Person auf: wie bedeutsam der erste Eindruck ist, den man auf andere macht. Vor allem erfahren Sie, wie Sie ihn zu Ihren Gunsten beeinflussen können. Menschen werten und richten ihre Wahrnehmung selektiv nach dem ersten Eindruck und ihrer Erwartung aus; möglicherweise bleiben sie an einem Detail des anderen hängen und „färben“ alle weiteren Wahrnehmungen entsprechend ein. Der erste Eindruck prägt daher und ist oft nur mühevoll wieder auszuräumen. Besonders gewichtig beim Bilden des ersten Eindrucks sind in absteigender Reihenfolge das nonverbale, gefolgt vom paraverbalen zum verbalen Auftreten. Indem Sie diese drei Säulen des ersten Eindrucks für sich im positiven Sinne ausfüllen und gestalten, können Sie den ersten Eindruck, den andere von Ihnen gewinnen, entscheidend mitbestimmen.
