Zusammenfassung

Lina Bo Bardi repräsentiert eine Architektur der kulturellen Heterogenität. Unterschiedliche Einflüsse können, ja sie müssen sogar aufeinanderprallen. Dass Bo Bardi bewusst auch mit Widersprüchlichkeiten baut, zeigt nicht zuletzt ihr Kunstmuseum MASP in São Paulo, das hier diskutiert wird. Bo Bardis Architektur wird von manchen als „agonistisch“ bezeichnet. Dieser Gedanke wird in diesem Kapitel auch auf die gesellschaftliche Situation insgesamt übertragen. Mit Rückgriff auf die Politologin Chantal Mouffe wird auf den folgenden Seiten ein Konzept produktiver kultureller wie auch politischer Auseinandersetzung vorgeschlagen und entwickelt.
