The new grid rules require the wind generators should have the ability of the low voltage ride-through, and it’s very important for the safety and stability of power system. In order to restrain the rotor of the doubly fed induction generator appearing over-voltage and over-current shock under the grid faults, the doubly- fed machine system had been established, after considering the electric network fluctuation. The paper presented the improved strategy of the stator flux vector to control the generator speed and stator output reactive power. The numerical simulation in MATLAB shows that the method effectively improved the control for the rotor current under grid faults, enhance the stability of power system and the ability of low voltage ride through.
