Zusammenfassung

Das erste Kapitel befasst sich mit mathematischen Grundlagen, die für die Formulierung und Anwendung der Finite-Element-Methode benötigt werden. Zunächst werden elementare Konzepte der Matrizenrechnung vorgestellt und an Beispielen erläutert. Danach werden Verfahren zur Lösung linearer Gleichungssysteme und Bedingungen für deren Lösbarkeit behandelt.
