When introducing AUTOSAR, Bosch had to tackle naming issues. This is not only discussed in the context of the development of a single electronic control unit (ECU) or an ECU product line, but in the context of a company dealing with many different ECU product lines and developing the software of an ECU product line in cooperation with the OEM or third parties in general.
