As a primer international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of neural computation, fuzzy computation, evolutionary computation, and other intelligent algorithms inspired from nature, particularly biological and physical systems, the joint International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC) and International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD) in 2005 through 2009 each attracted over 3,000 submissions from around the world.
