Abstract

In this research we outline an approach to the provision of services in the presence of power constraints and energy constraints. The primary focus is power and energy constraints in heterogeneous computing environments. These environments are descriptive of the computing environments present in many organisations. Our goal in this research is to explore smarter methods of operating in power and energy constrained environments to maximise the total benefit to an organisation from the services these resources provide.
