The Shape Memory and Superelasticity Best Paper Awards for 2017 and 2018 were presented at the International Conference on Shape Memory and Superelastic Technologies (SMST 2019) on May 16, 2019, at The Bodenseeforum in Konstanz, Germany. The awards were presented by SMST President, Othmane Benafan, and Shape Memory and Superelasticity Editor Hüseyin Sehitoglu.
Shape Memory and Superelastic Technologies President Dr. Othmane Benafan (left) and Shape Memory and Superelasticity Editor Hüseyin Sehitoglu (right) presented the Shape Memory Volume 3 Best Paper Award to Tobias Gustmann and Jan Van Humbeeck, who accepted on behalf of their co-authors from IFW Dresden, Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), and KU Leuven, for their paper “Properties of Cu-Based Shape-Memory Alloys Prepared by Selective Laser Melting.”
