Study on Female Caring Office Chair Design Based on Ergonomics

This article studies the design of office chairs for professional sedentary women. First, it investigated the hidden health hazards of women caused by sedentary, analyzed the man–machine system of office chairs, and summarized the relationship between seats and hidden health hazards. In addition to the common low back and cervical diseases caused by improper sitting posture, female reproductive system diseases and anorectal diseases are also related to sedentary. This article combines the ergonomics theory to propose design criteria in the design of women’s seats, which aims to improve the health problems of women’s sedentary from the perspective of the seat, to give women health care from both physical and psychological dimensions. On the basis of existing chairs, an office chair design plan for women’s care is proposed.
