Synthesis and characterization of CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 composites based on polyaniline

Abstract

The polyaniline/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 composite powders with different mass ratios of CFO and YIG powders were successfully synthesized by an in situ polymerization method. The phase composition, morphology and electromagnetic properties of the nanocomposites were characterized by various instruments. The electromagnetic parameters of the polyaniline/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 composite powders were investigated in the 2–18 GHz range. The results show that when the mass ratio of CFO and YIG powders is 6:4, the polyaniline/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 composite powders exhibit the better microwave absorbing properties and the maximum reflection loss of the composites can reach −23.4 dB at 7.7 GHz.
