Abstract

We revise the Taylor series and Taylor expansion. The text’s intention is to remind us of this important tool, and to refresh some important technical skills such as Taylor for functions with multiple arguments. We reiterate the smoothness assumptions we implicitly employ. This chapter revisits Taylor expansion in a very hands-on fashion. Feel free to skip the whole chapter if you don’t have to refresh your knowledge.
