Abstract
In the previous chapter, we talked about how to deploy the SQL Hyperscale environment using Azure Bicep. We explained a few of the key Azure Bicep resources required to deploy the SQL Hyperscale environment and supporting resources. In this chapter, we are going to do an overall performance comparison between the traditional Azure architecture and Hyperscale architecture. For this purpose, we are going to deploy three different Azure SQL database service tiers.
