We would like to have all contributions submitted to the journal reviewed rigorously and fairly. At the same time, our desire is to have reviews done in reasonable time, although this is strictly linked to the quality of the submission. The objective is to produce high-quality papers, which benefit the journal but, most importantly, benefit the authors. Our journal in 2018 has received nearly 1700 manuscripts, including original papers, review papers, and technical notes that have been reviewed to assess whether they merit publication. In addition, our journal in the same year has published three Special Issues. …
