The present paper is devoted to one of the most important categories of international economics, the division of labour as applied to the commonwealth of socialist countries. The international division of labour embraces both aspects of production: productive forces and productive relations. As Marx put it, this division is to be seen as a productive force in its co-ordination of producers, and a productive relation in the resultant activity of producers.
