Abstract

The paper presents a model of a two-way one-lane road with loading/unloading bays. The developed model is based on the theory of cellular automata. The model reflects the real behaviour of drivers described in the literature and observed in reality. A micro-simulator was developed to present the measurement results. The model was compared with the one-way two-lane road with loading/unloading bays model described in the literature.
