Zusammenfassung

Um Gebrauchstauglichkeit und Benutzererlebnis auch im interkulturellen Kontext zu erlangen, sind neben den kulturellen Einflüssen auf die Usability auch die kulturellen Einflüsse auf das Usabilityengineering zu untersuchen. In diesem Kapitel wird der theoretische Hintergrund bezüglich interkulturell angepasster Mensch-Maschine Interaktion (MMI) beleuchtet und dabei kulturelle Aspekte mit Modellen, Rollen, Prinzipien des menschzentrierten Gestaltungsprozesses (Planen und Gestaltungsaktivitäten) in Verbindung gebracht und dann auf interkulturelles Usabilityengineering übertragen. Anschließend werden die Schritte des Prozesses des „interkulturellen Usability-Engineerings“ präsentiert.

Der UXQB (International Usability and UX Qualification Board) hat hierfür das Personenzertifizierungsprogramm zum „Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience“ (CPUX) geschaffen (s. www.uxqb.org, letzter Zugriff 30.09.2016).
