Use of the complex ratio method in wide-range measurement devices

Abstract

The conversion function of wide-range measurement devices with error limit bands normalized to a trinomial formula is examined. A complex (double) ratio method is shown to be appropriate for enhancing the conversion accuracy of these instruments.
