Zwischen Konfrontation und Kooperation – Das Verhältnis zwischen NGOs und Privatwirtschaft

Zusammenfassung

Der Artikel setzt sich mit der Literatur zu kooperativen und konfrontativen Beziehungen zwischen NGOs und Privatwirtschaft auseinander, die sich seit den 1990er Jahren immer stärker verdichtet haben. Die Forschung untersucht zum einen den Einfluss zivilgesellschaftlicher Aktivitäten auf Unternehmen und deren Strategiewahl. Andererseits werden die Interaktionen von NGOs und Privatwirtschaft insbesondere in der Forschung zu neuen Governance-Formen thematisiert. Weitgehend ausgeblendet bleiben allerdings bislang Fragen nach den Auswirkungen dieser Interaktion auf das Regieren jenseits des Staates.
