Knowledge of drillability of rocks in engineering projects is very important in determining drilling costs. In drilling operations, so many parameters such as the properties of rock and the drilling equipment affect the drilling performance. Although the parameters of drilling equipment can be controlled, change to the rock parameters cannot be. Rock drillability cannot be measured by a single index or a single test. It is influenced by many parameters. …
