Abstract

Because of the social and economic evolution, the density of the buildings in cities of Taiwan has become higher and higher. Once inappropriate buildings or construction productivity are overgrown, it will make a great impact on the ecological environment of the Earth. Besides, the changes in the earth climate have a degree of connection with deteriorated weather, exhausted resources and the lowered quality of public hygiene. In order to make constructions and it environment co-exist and have their mutual benefits, to avoid building procedure from influencing the ecological environment, producing pollution and wasting energy is important. Therefore, green building becomes a significant influential factor. This study develops a decision model for managing uncertainty and imprecision of green building project evaluation during the structure process. The evaluation is performed by a procedure based on a combination of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and TOPSIS.
