Eberspächer is taking over the US company Victori, LLC. This will enable the automotive supplier to also offer air supply components for fuel cell systems in the future.
Automotive supplier Eberspächer is expanding its position in the fuel cell systems sector with the acquisition of Victori, better known as Vairex air systems. Eberspächer is taking over 100 % of the shares in the U.S. company, which develops and produces air compressors for supplying cathode gas to fuel cells, as well as the associated components.
Vairex is based in Boulder, Colorado (USA), and has sales activities in Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. To date, the company has been active in the US and Asian markets. The acquisition expands Eberspächer’s product portfolio. “We plan to further develop Vairex’s products, integrate our electronics competencies and scale through Eberspächer’s global presence,” says Dr. Jörg Schernikau, Managing Director Climate Control Systems and Automotive Controls at Eberspächer.
