The Light Test 2015, which was held last October in Germany, highlighted the need for improvements to both commercial vehicles and passenger cars. A total of 36 % of the trucks, buses and vans that were evaluated had lighting faults, while the figure for cars was not much better at 32 %. One in every three of the vehicles tested was unsafe.
