Osterwalder AG, based in Lyss, Switzerland, specialised in press construction for over 100 years, has extensive know-how in powder press construction. Now it presented its first 2000 kN multi-platen electric powder press OPP 2000 with the completely new, adapterless F.A.S.T. tool changing system.
This press is the continuation of the electric drive concept introduced in 2009. The CA-SP Electric presses were considered revolutionary at the time and brought a significant change and technological lead. 70 % savings in energy consumption, 98 % gain in productivity with 98 % uptime are just a few of the advantages. This means more performance, less maintenance, increased net-shape performance. With the F.A.S.T. tool changing system on board, expensive external adapters are no longer required.
Development, assembly and service are among the services offered by the internationally renowned press manufacturer. The Osterwalder AG refers to an extensive and close-meshed sales and service network as well as a worldwide presence with nearly 900 successfully installed presses. Around 110 employees ensure the proverbial Osterwalder precision in production, process consulting and sound project management.
