The XIV International Sol–Gel Conference—SOL–GEL 2007- was held September 2–7, 2007 at Le Corum in Montpellier, France. This premier conference in the field of sol–gel materials was perfectly organized by Prof. Joël Moreau and Dr. Michel Wong Chi Man of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier, who we deeply thank and congratulate.
