Abstract

The volatile, uncertain and challenging global business environment has resulted in organizations adopting innovative strategies to enhance their performance and sustain their competitive advantage. Organizations are trying to develop and sustain a culture which is flexible and can provide them with a strong foundation. This chapter tries to examine the relationship between supportive culture and job satisfaction mediated by stress and career advancement by using the data collected from women employees of call centres located in Delhi and NCR. Multiple regression is used both for analyzing the data and testing the hypotheses. The findings indicate the significance of supportive culture in enhancing the satisfaction of women employees in call centres in India.
