Abstract

The performed experiments showed that the maximum abrasive-wear resistance is achieved with the composition of a composite of 60 pts wt of gravel filler and fraction size of 2.25 mm. The value of resistance to abrasive wear depends on the probability of manifestation of the “effect of removal” of dispersed fractions from the matrix, the area of their contact (“gluing”) with the matrix, and the value of the path of contact between the particles of the abrasive mass and the granite particles of the composite.
