Zusammenfassung

Globale Trends wie die Verstädterung stellen Unternehmen vor neue Herausforderungen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird nach der Darstellung wesentlicher Trends die Vision einer urbanen Produktion als Lösungsansatz vorgestellt. Nach einer Diskussion der Potenziale der Produktion im städtischen Umfeld werden Ansätze zu deren Hebung aufgezeigt und industrielle Beispiele zur urbanen Produktion dargestellt.
