Abstract

The dielectric characteristics of syntactic foams based on Viksint K-18 sealant filled with hollow glass, ceramic, and phenol–formaldehyde microspheres are considered. The properties of syntactic foams in the microwave range of radio frequencies from 8 to 12 GHz have been studied. The influence of the concentration of hollow microspheres on the tangent of the dielectric-loss angle and dielectric permittivity has been studied. It is shown that the introduction of hollow microspheres leads to a decrease in the permittivity and dielectric-loss tangent of syntactic foams.
