The commercial road transport industry faces a tough challenge: delivering a 15 % reduction in CO ₂ emissions from new heavy-duty vehicles by 2025, and a 30 % reduction by 2030 (measured against 2019 figures). All while maintaining high performance levels. To achieve this, both fuel efficiency must be improved and greenhouse gas emissions reduced. One solution is for OEMs to adopt lower high temperature high shear engine oils. Shell oils with low high temperature high shear values offer improved fuel efficiency while providing high engine protection. …
