The German federal government has decided to recognize e-fuels as a carbon-neutral form of energy and has successfully presented and asserted its position in Brussels. The decision changed from getting rid of the ICE to getting ready for green fuels. The German chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed this in an interview: "We want to make it possible for cars that run on e-fuels or are otherwise carbon- neutral to see the light of day after 2035." He also made explicit mention of the use of hydrogen in transport. …
