6. Interventionsstudie: Einfluss von appbasiertem Achtsamkeitstraining auf Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden von Berufstätigen

Zusammenfassung

Damit Berufstätige langfristig gesund und leistungsfähig bleiben, benötigen sie adäquate Erholung. Die bisherige Forschung hat gezeigt, dass sich Achtsamkeitstraining positiv auf diverse Erholungsprozesse auswirken kann. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Masterthesis wurde untersucht, wie sich eine appbasierte Achtsamkeitsintervention auf zwei zentrale Erholungsprozesse – Abschalten von der Arbeit nach Feierabend (Psychological Detachment) und Schlaf – auswirkt. Die statistische Auswertung ergab, dass das Training nach zehn Tagen zu einem signifikanten Anstieg der Tendenz zu achtsamem Verhalten (Trait Mindfulness) in der Interventionsgruppe führte im Vergleich zur Kontrollgruppe. Die Ergebnisse unterstützen außerdem die Annahme, dass nach zehn Tagen ein positiver Zusammenhang besteht zwischen Achtsamkeit während des Arbeitstages (State Mindfulness) und Psychological Detachment. Hinsichtlich des Zusammenhangs zwischen State Mindfulness und Schlafqualität wurde in der gesamten Stichprobe ebenfalls ein positiver Zusammenhang aufgezeigt. Die weiterführende Analyse ergab, dass sich das zehntägige appbasierte Achtsamkeitstraining in der Interventionsgruppe signifikant auf den Grad des Abschaltens auswirkte. Die Schlafqualität der Teilnehmenden konnte hingegen nicht verbessert werden, bewegte sich jedoch bereits vor dem Training auf relativ hohem Niveau. Insgesamt legen die Forschungsergebnisse nahe, dass sich appbasiertes Achtsamkeitstraining förderlich auf State Mindfulness und Trait Mindfulness sowie Psychological Detachment auswirkt und dass der positive Effekt bereits innerhalb einer relativ kurzen Zeitspanne von zehn Arbeitstagen einsetzt.
