Ultifi is GM's newest software platform. It will appear in select next-generation electric and ICE vehicles starting in 2023. Spanning from the vehicle to the cloud, Ultifi is an end-to-end software platform designed to deliver software-defined features, apps and services over the air. By 2030, the platform will deliver software products and services to 30 million connected vehicles, generating 20 to 25 billion US dollars in revenue, annually. In comparison GM´s Telematic service OnStar's 16 million connected vehicles will generate 2 billion US dollars in 2021 in annual revenue from software and services. The Ultifi brand is meant to be similar to (but not to confuse with) the Ultium brand for GM's EV batteries, motors and power electronics. …
