Abstract

The article investigates the seismic response of loess-mudstone slopes with underlying anti-dip fault zones using shaking table tests. It focuses on the dynamic response, deformation, and failure mechanisms of these slopes under various seismic conditions. The study highlights the unique behavior of these slopes compared to those with back-dip fault zones, including the 'fault zone amplification effect' and 'hanging wall amplification effect'. The research provides valuable insights into the seismic behavior of loess-mudstone slopes, which is crucial for understanding and mitigating earthquake-induced landslides in high-risk areas.
